Every year, India celebrates its Republic Day on January 26. Indian independence from the British Raj was achieved in 1947, but it wasn’t until January 26, 1950, when the Indian Constitution took effect and India was proclaimed a republic and an independent state. Our university observes the day every year with considerable act. National flags and flowerpots were tastefully used to decorate the university building. Celebrating these auspicious days develops patriotism and love towards the nation among the pupils.
