ROTARY CLUB(Blood Camp) :

We co-organised a blood donation camp with the Vellore Vegan Rotary Club. Over 20 students from our institute who donated blood for the first time were among the 50 college students from our institute who gave blood in the camp. Together with our students, even our staff donated blood. The donor was provided all the necessities at the camp, which was set up with complete safety procedures. A blood donation camp is being planned to encourage individuals to participate in charitable endeavours and blood donations. The aim of a blood donation camp is to find a suitable donor whose blood will be safe for the receiver and who will not suffer any negative effects from giving blood.

COVID VACCINATION :

Vaccination camp for COVID-19 held on our campus. This vaccination camp was held for those who were 18 years of age and older, with the majority of participants being college students, staff, and family members. All Covid-19 protection measures were implemented during this time. The vaccination is your protective barrier to battle the Covid outbreak, thus being vaccinated is essential if we want to defeat Covid-19. We shall be able to protect society from the looming danger of Covid by building a collective immunity through continued vaccination.

Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society :

Along with the Tamilnadu State AIDS Control Society, our organisation also held an AIDS awareness campaign. In India, NACO wants all people living with HIV to have access to high-quality care and to be treated with respect. In a setting where human rights are upheld and persons with HIV/AIDS may live their lives free from stigma and prejudice, effective HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and support are achievable. NACO has taken steps to guarantee that people with HIV have equal access to high-quality medical care. NACO wants to increase access to and responsibility for the services by forging close partnerships with NGOs, women’s self-help organizations, faith-based organizations, positive people’s networks, and communities. It is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where people with HIV can play.

ROTARY CLUB & Vasan Eye Care :

A Free Eye Checkup was conducted in our facility by Vasan Eye Care and organised by the Rotary club. We also have our students’ health in mind. By holding eye screening and surgery camps, it is possible to help people in distant locations regain their eyesight and lessen the burden of refractive error and cataract blindness. This training will assist individuals in realizing the value of routine eye checkups for preserving good eye health and vision. We will hand out fact sheets about eye care, complementary coupons, the prevention and treatment of eye disorders, as well as pledge forms for people who want to donate their eyes, throughout the camp. During camps, health talks and question-and-answer sessions can be scheduled.
